What will a representation by Mattil Law Firm cost me if I have a legal expenses insurance policy?
If you have a legal expenses insurance policy that is liable and has agreed to cover the costs, there are no further expenses arising from our legal services, with the exception of a possible deductible.
In addition, we will assume, free of charge, the first inquiry with your insurance company regarding the cost coverage for the filing of the insolvency claim as well as possible legal proceedings against the third parties and institutions mentioned above.
Please provide us with the data of your insurance company (name and insurance policy number are sufficient), then we will gladly make the corresponding inquiry for you. If you have already provided us with this information, this request is, of course, invalid and we will contact you as soon as we receive a message from your insurance company regarding your coverage request.
What will a representation by Mattil Law Firm cost me if I do not have a legal expenses insurance or if the legal expenses insurance has refused to cover the costs?
As we have made various recommendations for action, we would like to share our answer accordingly:
Costs of filing your claims in a collective procedure (under the KapMuG)
We limit our fee claim here to the statutory (minimum) fees, which amount to a 0.8 fee. A corresponding overview is attached in the attachment.
The amount in dispute regularly amounts to a negative interest, i.e. you are placed in a position as if you had not acquired the investment products in dispute.
Costs for an individual action
If you would like an individual lawsuit in your particular case (or if this is necessary for any certain case because of individual actions against a consultant etc.), we will be happy to calculate the costs individually for you on request; in such a case, please contact one of the responsible lawyers Mr. Mattil or Ms. Kunzfeld.
